This time last year we launched CGT sales and what a year it has been looking after just over 7 million pounds worth of property in the first year. New staff joining the team partnering with business and local communities in the area and supporting local sports clubs going green with company cars it’s been busy.
Our director David Baldwin made the decision that CGT were to go into sales and return to our roots from where it all started from over 30 years ago.
Firstly, we would like to say a massive thank you for all our clients past and present who has made this first year so exciting for us and trusting us.
This year has been a rollercoaster from the launch back in March 2019 it has been nonstop for us with creating something from nothing at the start and to look back at what we have done is something we are rather proud of and looking forward to see what it is turning into is very exciting.
For me personally it has been one big journey learning a huge amount along the way and it has been a privilege that I was trusted with the job. When I was first introduced to David Baldwin and Angharad Trueman and they both explained the exciting gran plan that they had in mind for CGT sales I couldn’t say yes fast enough.
Since then the past year for me has been nonstop driving around Gloucestershire taking on properties agreeing deals left right and centre. Networking and working alongside local companies. Attending property mark conferences, meeting new clients and colleagues, attending CGT seminars, Sales launching with Rightmove and On The Market, meeting local community clubs and sports grounds and sponsoring a local team, attending charity events with Sue Ryder and participating in the couch2summit and raising money for good causes in the area to say it has been busy is an understatement.
We have also had a new member of staff that has joined us Melissa to help with the growth of the department she has added a wealth of knowledge to the team and has only been with us for a couple of months but has already started to push it forward.
Looking forward to the next year we have a lot of plans in place to grow and develop us as one of the standout agents in Gloucester.
It really has been a fantastic year and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our big sister CGT lettings and the brilliant team that they have there and all the clients and businesses that have joined us on this journey to get to this fist step of many more.
